Mediation is a confidential service whereby the mediator, who is entirely impartial and independent, can offer to both parties the opportunity to meet and air their grievances and to arrive at a resolution of their disputes by themselves. The process is facilitated by the mediator to enable them to do so.

With the coming into force of the Mediation Act 20l7, mediation services have become all the more important and the emphasis is on endeavouring to use mediation as an effective method of dispute resolution as an alternative to proceeding to Court to resolve the matter.
